WHAT WE DID
CHALLENGE
Online gaming is a 600 billion dollar industry. And while there are dozens of platforms dedicated to streaming gameplay, TikTok was quickly becoming THE place for all things fandom.
To share this with major brands across the world, TikTok set out to produce a keystone global virtual summit. This launch represented a huge move into a new sector, and they wanted a summit worthy of the moment. And to top it all off, they needed it done in 30 days, start to finish. Hey, no problem, right?
APPROACH
With something like this it’s truly an all hands on deck situation from day 1. We quickly set to work assembling a core team that would be dedicated to bringing the 35 minute experiential summit to life. Our fully remote team worked seamlessly across time zones from LA to Portugal, utilizing almost 20 working hours each day. We built hyper realistic sets in LA while simultaneously creating magical 3D worlds in our NY studio.

TIKTOK MADE ME PLAY IT
The end product was a massive success. Over 8,000 of the invitation-only audience tuned in for the world wide showing. Tiktok saw fantastic engagement with existing partners and was able to acquire several new accounts as well.
For Eastward, the project was a great test of our creative and technical skills and we were thrilled to see our remote infrastructure work flawlessly.
